Forge Valley is easily accessible by foot, bus or tram. We are located in the Stannington area just a short walk away from the Malin Bridge tram stop as well as Hillsborough, which has excellent links to the city centre. See below for some options for how to get to us via public transport.

City centre:

Tram: You can get the Blue route or Yellow route from the city centre. The Blue route terminates at Malin Bridge, which is a 15 minute walk away from Forge. Alternatively you can get the Yellow route to Hillsborough, then walk 20-25 minutes to Forge.

Bus: You can get the 81 or 82 bus from the city centre. Both stop at the Stannington Road/Barlow Road stop, which is a 6 minute walk away from Forge.

Stannington:

Walk: Forge Valley is located in the Stannington area, just a 13 minute walk away from Deer Park.

Bus: You can get the 82 bus from Deer Park which stops just outside the school site.

Oughtibridge:

Bus: You can get the 57a bus from Langsett Road South, then switch to the 731 bus at Far Lane which stops directly outside the school. Alternatively you can get off at Hillsborough and either walk 20-25 minutes or switch to the 81 bus.

Middlewood:

Bus: You can get the 731 bus from Middlewood Road, which stops just outside the school.

Tram: You can get the Yellow route from Middlewood Road to Hillsborough, then walk 20-25 minutes to the school.

Loxley:

Bus: You can get the 731 bus from Ben Lane/Hallowmoor Road, which stops directly outside the school. Alternatively you can get the 62 bus from Loxley Road - this stops at the Stannington Road/Barlow Road stop, which is a 6 minute walk away from Forge.

Loxley is also a 40 minute walk from the school.

Crookes:

Walk: Crookes is just over half an hour away from Forge Valley by foot.

Bus: You can get the 52a bus to Hillsborough, then either walk 20-25 minutes to the school or switch to the 81 bus.
