Key Stage 4

Pupils may choose to continue their study of History at GCSE. At this level, they build on the skills taught in KS3 and apply them to three units of study:

  • Medicine and public health through time (exam)
  • The American West 1840-1895 (exam)
  • Quarry bank mill (controlled assessment)

GCSE History is a very popular choice at Forge Valley and provides pupils with the opportunity to develop their knowledge refine their analysis and communication skills and be able to make balanced and well supported judgements.
