Even if you may not want to start up your own business one day, you could have an enquiring mind and be interested in learning about the world around you, how businesses are set up and what it is that makes someone a great entrepreneur.

GCSE Business Studies

This course is both active and enjoyable. You need to be good at communicating and explaining your ideas, not afraid of learning new things and working with numbers to solve business problems. You will also learn how to be a creative thinker.

The course is made up of three units and will include topics such as;

spotting a business opportunity

  • economics
  • enterprise
  • putting an idea into practice
  • types of business structure
  • finance
  • how businesses make money
  • where finance can be obtained from.
